In the 2009 growing season, we are planning a new pilot project to get more people in the region actively and carefully saving seed. The long-term goal is to have a regional seed-bank and a community of active seed-savers.

Here is some information about why we should be concerned with saving seed locally.

Here is how the project will work.

Here is how you can get involved.

We’re still planning the project and getting it up and running for the 2009 growing season. Bear with us. If you have thoughts or suggestions or would like to save some seeds yourself, please email us. Thank you.
